UPDATE: Board of Reps. Primary Election results

As you know Stamford Parent's United endorsed 4 candidates for the Democratic Primary Election: Christina Strain (District 7), Kindrea Walston (District 9), Karen Camporeale (District 18), and Clemon Williams (District 20).

Thank you to everyone who went out to vote! These elections are often decided by just a few votes and that will certainly be the case in the election - a recount is required in District 7 and District 18.

As of the preliminary results however, 3 out of 4 Reform Stamford Democrats won: Christina Strain, Kindrea Walston, and Karen Camporeale; Clemon Williams unfortunately lost.

The unofficial results from the Stamford Registrar of Voters were reported as follows:

District 7

Christina Strain edged Bianca Shinn, 156 votes to 149.

District 9

Kindrea Walston defeated Walter Mardis, 154 votes to 106.

District 18

Karen Camporeale narrowly pulled ahead of Jennienne Burke 217 to 215

District 20

Carl Weinberg totaled 338 votes to challenger Clemon Williams's 230 votes
